If you want to escape the cold, come down this winter and enjoy the warmth of Taylor County. There are many historic landmarks and parks in the area. The majestic Suwannee River, Fanning Springs, and Manatee Springs, to name a few. Just 4 miles down the road is Hagans Cove , the perfect place to launch your kayak or paddle board. Drive 17 miles south on Beach Road to Steinhatchee, and discover a number of excellent places to eat, including the famous Roy’s Restaurant.
